When do I need to order to have it in time for Christmas?
Production takes 24 to 48 hours, then the tile goes in the post. Order before mid-December and you are comfortably in time for Christmas Eve. December is the busiest postal month of the year, so try not to leave it to the final week — that turns a €23.99 gift into a nail-biter for no reason.
Can the family name or the year go on the tile?
Yes. There is room for up to 6 lines of text, so a Christmas line with "The Bakker family" and the year underneath fits comfortably. The designer shows you exactly how it will look as you type.
Is a tile a good gift for the host?
One of the better ones. Whoever cooks Christmas dinner usually gets wine or chocolate — lovely, and gone by New Year. A tile with a line about the full table is still there next December, usually in the kitchen where it was earned.
Will the text survive in a kitchen?
It will. This is real ceramic and the text is fired into the tile, so it does not fade and cannot be wiped off — not even above the stove. If the tile arrives damaged, we make you a new one free of charge.
