New job
New job gift: a tile for the first day at the new desk
The contract is signed, the notice period is running out and in two weeks somebody else will be sitting in that chair. A new job is nerves and pride at the same time, and that deserves better than the standard bunch of flowers at reception. A Delft Blue tile with a short line and the start date is on the new desk by Monday morning. A small nudge on a day full of new names and corridors. Pick a line below or write your own message.

Frequently asked questions
What do you give someone starting a new job?
Something for the new desk rather than for home. Flowers won’t survive the first week and a bottle of wine goes straight into a bag. A tile with an encouraging line and the start date is still there a year later, and it starts conversations with the new colleagues.
Can the name, job title or start date go on the tile?
Yes. There’s room for up to 6 lines of text, so a line with the name, the new job title and "since 1 September 2026" underneath fits comfortably. The designer shows you exactly how it’ll look as you type.
Does this work for a promotion or a career change too?
Certainly. For a promotion, a jump to another industry or a first job after studying, the same idea holds: you choose the text, so the tile fits that exact step. As a gift from the old team it makes a farewell that looks forward rather than back.
How quickly will the tile arrive?
Production takes 24 to 48 hours, then the tile is posted. Order at least a week before the first day or the leaving drinks and you’ll comfortably be on time.
