Retiring
Retirement gift: a tile for someone who earned it
Forty years of waking up to the alarm, and then suddenly: free. Retirement is a milestone that deserves more than a bunch of flowers that wilt next week. A Delft Blue tile with a fitting line, the name and the years of service is a gift that stays. Literally, on the wall of the new hobby room or next to the coffee machine. On behalf of the whole department, or from the kids to Mum or Dad. Pick a line below or write your own message.

Frequently asked questions
Is a tile a good retirement gift from colleagues?
Absolutely. A tile with, say, "40 years of loyal service" and the retiree’s name is more personal than the standard gift card, and can be given on behalf of the whole department. Add signatures or a team name underneath if you like.
Can the name and years of service go on the tile?
Yes. There’s room for up to 6 lines of text, so a line together with the name and years of service underneath fits comfortably. The designer shows you exactly how it’ll look as you type.
Do you have something less cheeky too?
Of course. The lines above range from warm and sincere ("enjoy your well-earned rest") to a touch cheeky ("no more Mondays"). And you can always type your own text, so you set the tone.
How quickly will the tile arrive?
Production takes 24 to 48 hours, then the tile is posted. Order at least a week before the farewell drinks and you’ll comfortably be on time.
