1. Personalised products and the right of withdrawal

All YourDutchTile tiles are made to order from your photo or text. Under Dutch consumer law (Civil Code art. 6:230p sub f), the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly intended for a specific person.

• Each tile is made individually from your design
• Production starts right after your order is confirmed
• A personalised tile cannot be sold to anyone else

Returning a tile because you’ve changed your mind about the design is therefore not possible. While ordering you always see a preview of the result first, so you know exactly what you’re getting.

2. Arrived damaged? Free replacement

If your tile arrives damaged, we’ll make and ship a new one free of charge — this falls under our quality guarantee. Here’s how:

1. Report the damage as soon as possible (ideally within 7 days of receipt) via support@yourdutchtile.nl or the contact form.
2. Include clear photos of the damage, the product and the packaging, along with your order number.
3. We assess your report within 48 hours.
4. For demonstrable transport damage you’ll receive a new tile free of charge. You don’t need to return the damaged one.

3. Error in the design

If we made a mistake — for example, different text than you provided or a different size than ordered — we’ll of course correct it free of charge. If there’s a typo in the text you supplied yourself, that falls outside the replacement scheme; so please check your design carefully before ordering.

4. Cancelling

Because production starts shortly after your order, you can only cancel while your order is not yet in production. To do so, contact us as soon as possible, quoting your order number.
