Ready-made: Chocolate letter5 December
Sinterklaas gift: a tile with your own rhyme
In the Netherlands, 5 December belongs to Sinterklaas: names drawn from a hat, a poem written the night before, and a gift hidden inside something handmade and gloriously ridiculous. The rhyme is the best part of the evening, and the first thing in the recycling the next morning. Put your best two lines on a Delft Blue tile and they are still on the wall a year later. A gift with a wink, exactly as the Saint intended.

Frequently asked questions
When do I need to order to have it in time for 5 December?
Order by November 27 and the tile lands well before the big evening. Production takes 24 to 48 hours and then it goes in the post. But these are the busiest postal weeks of the year, so a few extra days of margin is worth having. Celebrating St Nicholas on 6 December instead? Then you have exactly one day more.
Can I send the tile as a gift?
Yes. Enter the recipient’s address at checkout and the parcel goes straight to them. Would you like to add a few words? Add a card with your own message at checkout (€4.95) and we will put it in the parcel. With the photo tile you can also add gift wrapping.
Does a whole Sinterklaas poem fit on a tile?
A full twelve-line poem, no: there is room for up to 6 lines of text. That is exactly enough for the punchline: put the closing couplet on the tile and write the rest on the card that goes with it. You read the poem out loud, and the last line stays.
Does it work as a Secret Santa or surprise gift?
It does. At €26.99 for 15x15 cm it sits comfortably inside most drawn-name budgets, and a tile disappears easily inside a homemade "surprise". Build a chimney, a boat or a mitre around it: the gift inside is the only part that survives the evening.
Can I add a name or the year?
Yes. A name, the year, "from your secret Saint": anything that fits within 6 lines fits on the tile. The designer shows you exactly how it will look as you type.
