Frequently asked questions
- Which places can I choose?
- Anywhere in the world: a street with house number, a village, a city or a whole region. Type the address, pick the right result and drag the map until the place sits exactly right.
- Can I decide how much of the map is shown?
- Yes. The zoom buttons under the preview take you from a few streets to a whole city. What you see in the preview is exactly what we print.
- What text goes underneath?
- By default the place name, the region and the coordinates of the pin. Edit the lines as you like, for instance with your names or a date, and switch the coordinates off if you prefer.
- Where does the map data come from?
- From OpenStreetMap, the free world map maintained by millions of volunteers. New streets usually appear within a few weeks.
- Can I hang the tile or stand it up?
- Both. Add a tile stand to put it on a shelf, or a hanging system for the wall. Note: a stand covers the bottom edge, where the text sits.
- How fast is delivery?
- Every tile is made individually for you. After your order it is printed and usually delivered within a few working days.
