1. Scope and seller

YourDutchTile is a trading name of MakeMe (VOF), Weurtseweg 25, 6541 AM Nijmegen, the Netherlands (“we” or “seller”). Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number: 42053845. VAT number: NL869495689B01. E-mail: support@yourdutchtile.nl.

These terms govern all dealings between us and you through this shop. The version in force at the time of your order applies.

2. Formation of the contract

The presentation of products in the shop is not a binding offer but an invitation to order.

By clicking “Order now (payment obligatory)” you place a binding order. You will immediately receive an automatic confirmation of receipt by e-mail; this does not yet constitute acceptance.

The contract is concluded once we confirm your order by e-mail or once we begin producing your personalized tile — whichever happens first. As each product is made specially for you, production usually starts shortly after we receive your order.

We store the contract text and send it to you together with these terms by e-mail. The contract language is English.

3. Prices and shipping costs

All stated prices are total prices including VAT and excluding shipping costs.

Shipping costs are clearly stated on the product pages and, at the latest, in the basket and order summary. We ship free of charge within the Netherlands from an order value of €30.

4. Payment

Payment is made via the methods offered during checkout (including card, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay), securely processed by our payment provider Stripe.

The purchase price is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.

5. Delivery and delivery time

The delivery time covers the making of your personalized tile and shipping, and is shown on the product page and during checkout (usually 4–8 business days including production).

6. Retention of title

The delivered goods remain our property until full payment.

7. Right of withdrawal

Consumers generally have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal. For the personalized tiles we make to order, this right is excluded by law.

For non-personalized items you may withdraw within 14 days of receipt without giving reasons by informing us at support@yourdutchtile.nl. We will then refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

8. Warranty (conformity)

The statutory rights for defective goods apply. If your tile arrives damaged or with an error caused by us, we will make and send a new one free of charge. Please contact us as soon as possible at support@yourdutchtile.nl.

9. Liability

Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. No limitation applies in cases of intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health.

10. Content you provide

You are responsible for the photos and texts you upload and warrant that you hold the necessary rights and infringe no third-party rights. We use your content solely to produce your order.

11. Dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. For a quick solution, reach us at support@yourdutchtile.nl.

12. Applicable law

Dutch law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain applicable.

13. Final provisions

Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the remaining provisions remain fully effective.
