Tile saying
Home is wherethe heart is
Love & homeThe sentence people reach for when they have moved somewhere unfamiliar and are trying to explain why it already feels right. Short, unfashionably sincere, and still the most quoted line about home.
- The design is fired into the ceramic: colourfast and waterproof.

Where this saying comes from
An English saying recorded in print through the nineteenth century and long attached to Pliny the Elder, though nobody has matched it to an actual line in his writing. Treat the attribution as folklore, not fact.
When to give it
A safe and genuinely welcome housewarming gift, especially for someone who moved for love, for work, or across a border. It also suits a holiday home where the point is the feeling, not the address.
About this design
Delft flower corners inside a painted circle give the oldest sentiment on the list the oldest frame on the list. The elegant script keeps it warm, which stops the symmetry from turning ceremonial.
